Vincent Chapdelaine-Couture

Vincent Chapdelaine-Couture finished his Ph.D. in May 2012 at l’Université de Montréal in Computer Science. He also received a B.Sc. in Computer Science from McGill University in 2002 and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from l’Université de Montréal in 2004.

Member of the Vision 3D Lab (DIRO), his Ph.D. mainly dealt with omnistereo (i.e. 360 degree + stereo) capture of dynamic scenes (more info), and with structured light reconstruction in the presence of interreflections and depth discontinuities (more info).

He also collaborated with Michael Langer (CIM) on improving omnistereo capture of dynamic scenes by applying graph-cuts optimisations to the mosaicing process.
